DVC Direct Sales Rep Recommendation

Hi All,

So my family and I are wanting to establish with a Disney sales rep as we are looking to hopefully purchase direct in the upcoming future. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for someone? I am nervous about calling and getting randomly assigned to a sales rep that I do not trust and/or has bad communication.

I'd suggest asking for Kathy Galcik. She's been an agent for 10 years and is very knowledgeable about the product specifically and Disney in general.

My guide is remote and I have never met him. Is he very smart and been w/ DVC a very long time.

But I recently spent some time w/ a guide at Poly in person. He was very very nice and very knowledgeable. I felt super bad that I already had a guide, he was that nice and that enjoyable to talk to. I also like that the didn't rush me since I had a guide already and didn't try to steal me either. If I needed to pick a new guide it would 1000% be him.

I would stick to here or other locations for knowledge and only use the rep to specifically go through the order process. I only say this as they are still sales people and if they have been at Disney a long time then they are likely a good salesperson on top of that.

Yep I spoke to him not all that long ago. He is an OG and knows his stuff! None of that flaky stuff you get from other guides.

For me, the reason to talk to a Guide is to say: "I want X points at resort Y, structured as <list of point values per contract> with a Use Year of <month>. Please do/do not apply Magical Beginnings to the first year. I believe I qualify for discounts G, F, and H. I do not need to finance."

Any of them should be capable of following through.

Very fair point. I don't anticipate buying direct more than once (or at least not in any near term-reality), and the Guide I spoke with was nice enough and didn't put on the pressure at all. I'll probably just stick with her. I tried to comb through my emails from 10+ years ago (yikes!) to find Bill's name and contact info, but I'm guessing I've been off his radar for some time and it's no big deal
