DVC Dining

I rented points from a DVC member and would like to add the dining plan. Do I call member services and have them add it to our reservation or does the DVC member have to call for us?

My understanding is that either party can call Member Services to add the dining, as long as you have the ressie confirmation number. Since you can book the plan now, but it won't usable until April 1 at the earliest, I'd wait to call MS until next month...they are in their busy Holiday booking period now, and you're likely to be on hold for quite awhile.
