Why oh why can I not get free dining as a dvc member?
It's such a bummer. I'd love to be able to get this perk as a dvc member. Or even a discounted rate!
Come on! I obviously give thousands of dollars to Disney every year.
Anyhow. That's my rant for the day.

In order to get free dining you have to pay rack rate for the room. We DVC members have already 'prepaid' for our room for the next 35-50 years. We supposedly got our discount when we bought into DVC. While I would like to get free dining as a DVC member, I totally understand why we don't. Remember, we do get a nice discount on APs.

I'm with the OP on this one. I really think that DVC members should at least get a discount on the Dining Plan. We have given our money upfront to Disney, so they know we're coming back year after year (often multiple trips per year), so why not throw us a perk and a Thank You, with a dining discount?

We do get discounts on AP's, but only once have I seen a discount on the Premium Passport.

We get discounts on certain restaurants and we get to the use of TIW. Granted, free food is free food. All those free snack credits during F&W.... I could go for that.
