I feel we are and a no would have been met with a smile and thank you. I'll point out that with every system, there is a technical rule then the rest of the story. Same with DVC and every other timeshare I know of. IMO, this comes under the "rest of the story" rather than an unexpected exception. I think it's rather like Bed, Bath and Beyond coupons where they semiofficially will honor them after they've expired. It's their rules and if they (collectively) want to enforce them or not, that's their business.I have no doubt you are appropriate and polite.I guess my issue (meaning me personally, not an issue with you) is that since I know the rules say I'm not supposed to use my dining credits to pay for others not on the plan, I wouldn't even ask. Oh, well. We have only dined with someone at WDW not on the DDP with us once, and we still treated her by paying cash for her meal. So she still got a free dinner, just not with our DDP credits.
