Is the DVC dining plan different then the regular dining plan if staying at a regular resort??

Our past trip was the first time we used the DDP and really enjoyed having it but on our next trip we are looking to rent DVC but I am VERY unsure about the dining plan for DVC. Could someone either point me in the right direction or explain it too me?

Granted, I AM a blond but the answers are evading me here!!:upsidedow

If you are referring to the dining plan and not the DDE then it is exactly the same plan. You must get the person you are renting from to have the plan added to your reservation though.

It is the same as the standard dining plan as far as benefits.

The difference is with the DVC dining plan you do not need to buy any park admission in order to purchase the plan.

Are you going in 2007 or 2008? the plan is changing next year and a new option is being added.

It would be 2008 and I do understand there are changes, such as no apptizers but what else has changed?

Your DVC owner will advise Member Services that you will be doing the dining plan, BUT you PAY for the dining plan at check in at the resort.

The only other change is that the plan no longer includes gratuity. These changes are not just for the DVC plan, but all (of the basic) dining plans.
