Purchased Tables in Wonderland this last trip due to so many trips planned in next 12 months. We knew we couldn't use it on Christmas Eve/Day & New Year's Eve/Day (as well as a few other holidays) ... But can we still get our 10% DVC discount on those days that are blacked out for TiW?

This had not even occurred to me, and in planning I purposefully placed higher-dollar ADR's on the non-holidays ... But it would be nice to eat at a "nicer" place on at least one or two of those holidays if we're there for all of them. If we can use the 10% DVC discount, then that helps make up for it a little.

We ate at 50's Prime Time Cafe on Christmas Eve, they didn't accept TIW, AP or DVC discounts that day.

YMMV. We ate at Rose & Crown on New Years Eve 2018. They would not take TIW but gave us either the AP or DVC 10% discount (I don't remember which one). I was pleasantly surprised.

I've been looking for a definitive answer, and have found none.

According to DVCNews, in 2018 "All Disney Vacation Club member perks and discounts are suspended on Christmas Day and New Year's Day."

And for 2019, they said this: Although Disney Vacation Club does not provide a concise list of blockout dates, member perks and discounts are often suspended on Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Members are advised to speak with a Cast Member before assuming that dining and merchandise discounts will apply.

So Christmas Day & New Year's Day are probably no-gos, but maybe we could get a discount on the Eves. Or maybe they tightened up from 2018 to 2019, based on the replies above.
