DVC Dilema

Recently just bought BCV points and when the 11 month window opens I will be booking 12 nights for our trip next year.

However, my plan is to spend 7 nights at BCV & 5 nights at AKV. We will need a 2 bed property.

We will be staying first 12 nights of November next year.

Here is where my Dliema starts. It will be our last time going to Orlando with 4 kids and I really want to try AKV but from reading through some sites I am now wondering will we get AKV at the 7 month window.

I know someone who is prepared to rent her AK points. Should I make the 12 night reservation and rent out the last 5 nights at BCV and rent the points to Stay at AK or should I just book the 12 nights and take my chance that I will get AK at the 7 month window.

I hope I havent made that sound more complicated than it is and someone understands where I am coming from.

by november of 09 kidani will be open and hopefully 100% completed- there shouldnt be too many problems booking there at 7months considering the size that the fully operation resort is supposed to be

IF you've got the points I'd make reservations for the BCV for 12 days then try to change at 7 months out. If you're sure you want to change resorts, I'd make separate reservations for the 7 & 5 days at BCV. Unless you want concierge, you shouldn't have that much trouble for AKV. You can always wait list. I wouldn't rent if you've got the points unless you see the rental price as low enough to save your points for something else, say $9 pp or less.
