DVC declares AKV Phase 15-17

DVC has declared phase 15, 16, and 17 today into inventory.

The units declared are as follows:

• Unit 15: two 2-BR Lockoffs (both Sunset savanna view)
• Unit 16: two 2-BR Lockoffs (both Sunset savanna view)
• Unit 17: six dedicated Studios (two Sunset savanna, four Arusha savanna view)

Remaining Units to be Declared:

• Dedicated Studios: 2
• 2BR Lockoffs: 11

Hopefully, LisaS will update her map when she returns from WDW.

On the Orange Country Comptroller web site. While the units have been recorded, the images are not yet available so I can't see the descriptions of the units.

LisaS, who is in WDW, won't be able to update her map until she gets home (Sunday).

Various folks have been following the progress of the completion of the AKV rooms inside the existing Jambo House. With today's declaration, we now know there are only 2 dedicated studios and 11 2-BR lock-offs to go.

Since construction is supposed to be finished by the end of this month (if not already completed), I wonder if the rest of the units will be declared within the next few weeks, or at least by the end of Feb?

Then, we can turn our eyes towards the first declaration of units at Kidani Village, but that's probably quite some time away.

Being new and considering renting points from an owner, do we get the unit they have purchased, for instance, if they purchased Unit 20 AKV, is that the unit we will get if we rent points from them? Sorry to be so inept at all of this.

Not inept at all! The answer is no. The unit that an owner owns a percentage of has nothing to do with the unit an owner stays in. The villa assigned for a stay is based on availability and the type of accommodation reserved.
