DVC?DCL points and cash?

Is it possible to book a cabin with DCL using point for one person and cash for the other? I can swing a room for myself with the points I have remaining but not for my sister. I thought we might be able to make it work this way. Thanks for any help with this.

Yes, it is possible to do this.

Be aware that the "exchange rate" for using DVC points to book your cruise might not be all that great. You can probably rent your points out for ~$10 per point and then pay cash for the cruise and come out ahead.

And also the $95 booking fee. You can use major credit card to pay in full as required when you make your reservation. Cash price will be predetermined by DCL and DVC according to cruise date. Good luck!

I have done it both ways....I booked using points for myself and cash for my 2 kids.....came to $2700 for them through DVC....the next year I looked around at different web travel sites ....booked cash for the 3 of us....guess how much? $2729!!! I guess I wasted my points the previous year....it is worth it to shop around!
