DVC Christmas Tree Exchange?

We will be going at Christmas time this year! We are so excited, It will also be our daughters 18th birthday! When will the exchange get started???

I didn't participate last year, but I know in years past, it started around July 1. Great program and kudos to those that organize and handle it.

Here's last year's thread. Usually people are first asked to donate and they give their dates, and then there's a sign up period.

The getting distracted and ending up on the boards for hours happens to me all the time.

We were tempted to do it last year, but didn't want to use a chunk of our time putting a tree up and down (we only stayed 5 days), so I bought a light-up pre-decorated small (2 feet I want to say?) tree from the Disney Store. It was really cute and since we didn't stay in the room much, just the right touch for a little Christmas ambiance in the room.

This year, I get to use it in my office! (Like I need any more Disney in my office!)
