DVC character call for purchasing?

I just purchased an add-on direct from Disney and I have emails now welcoming me home and there is a code to schedule a character call from either Mickey, Goofy or Minnie. The code expires in a year. I did an add-on late last year, too, so I suppose that code is still good.

Has anyone scheduled these calls and are they worth the time? I have a number of codes so could schedule one for each character . Thanks for any feedback!

I just got my character call last night. These calls are fun but not informative in anyway. My crowd of Disney fans enjoyed the call from Goofy. BTW, these are pre-recorded and last about 40 seconds.

Thank you! I am going to schedule three calls since I have at least 4 codes that haven't expired yet! Whoo hoo .
