DVC chair that pulls out into a bed?

Warning: mini vent. Ok, I'm replying to my own post. This just does not make sense. So, if you have two girls or two boys you can rent a studio and you're good to go.
However, if you have one of each, you're out of luck, you have to use double the points and get a one bedroom. C'mon Disney! How about a Poly type set up, or a sleeper chair?
I just need to know if I'm totally off base here folks. Am I the only one that's saying HUH? :cool2:

You can use an air mattress, that you provide, to get around that problem.

Keep Disney's motivations in mind. Disney has no desire to give you a Deluxe resort at an affordable price - what they want you to do is buy DVC and decide studios are not enough - you need the one and two bedroom. Disney isn't out to save you money, they are out to increase their profitability. DVC is a very effective way for Disney to INCREASE the number of dollars regular Disney guests spend at Disney.

DVC resorts are their own category. I really wish we wouldn't say around here that DVC is the same as - or even better than - a Deluxe. It isn't. Its an orange to a Deluxe resorts apple. Not necessarily better, not necessarily worse - a lot of people really do prefer the oranges - but you can't make an apple pie with them.

I so agree on both points. Its like buying a car. It takes more money to find a car that will seat above five people. Car manufacturers aren't out to make a car that is as cheap as a standard sedan that will seat one extra person. Its a great way for them to increase their profits and that will never change. But that still makes it hard when you are out shopping and need to not spend a fortune!

And I also really agree with the point about DVC's not being deluxe's. SSR and OKW in particular. Some of the most disappointed reviews on SSR in particular I have read have been from people who were expecting a deluxe level resort with interior hallways and room service. They miss the lobby and feel of a typcial deluxe level resort. I cannot relate to that (because those things don't matter to me) but I can definitely understand their disappointment. CRO at times will offer up SSR as an alternative to a deluxe without really explaining the differences.

I can see what you're saying about the villa's being deluxe and not so deluxe. Just from reading the different boards I can tell there is a difference between the resorts. One of the things that I look at is location. That being said, the villa's that I like are wilderness, akv, and bc. Yes, I know they are more expensive, but I could still take a vacation every other year in a studio.

I also see your point about Disney hoping that you'll want a one or two bedroom so that they will make more $$$. On the other hand, If they sell more DVC contracts because they are offering more options they are also making more $$$. I do understand what you are saying though. Just throwing around ideas.
:)

I did look into the different points for different villa's. Wht would work for us is using 100 points every other year.

We are able to go this year because we received a pin code in the mail. One of the reasons I was looking at DVC was because I thought it would be nice not to have to wait for a pin code to save some money.
