DVC Cash Rooms

I know we can book cash rooms on the main WDW website, but I feel like I recall there being discounted cash rooms via DVC? We are thinking of adding a night and are out of points, but see our room type available. Has anyone ever done a cash room through DVC? Any guesses on if the rates are better than the WDW website?

If they have any rooms available it will be a 25% discount.

Like said, DVC is 25%. The current General Public is 30% or AP 35% (for stays thru 7/10). Just make sure it's the same room, e.g., all BWV Standard View Cash bookings (including DVC Cash) are Garden/Pool view. DVC BW and Standard Views are only available on points.

When you see your room type available, are you looking at the DVC member website or Disneyworld.com?

IIRC, to get the DVC discount you book through the DVC Member Services and thus should be looking at the DVC member website to determine if there is availability.

The rooms that you can get via MS for cash are not shown anywhere. The website shows points bookings only and the WDW website shows only those rooms available booking directly with Disney.

To see if one can book with the DVC 25% discount, you have to call and they will tell you if something is available. No way to check on our own.
