No. In order to use discounts you also need to provide matching ID.

Generally, they have asked for an ID.
I would expect she is younger, so almost guaranteed to need to show an ID. If she looked 30+, they might believe she is an owner, but should still have to show an ID.

I have always had to show my ID to use the card member benefits. And I am definitely more than 30+..

I've found it to be very inconsistent. Some have just taken my word for it, others have asked just to see the card, and others have asked for ID as well

They have become a lot more insistent on ID in the past year for both DVC and AP I've noticed.

You have been lucky. 11 years as DVC and always Asked to show license, even when I just produced the card,

I always come prepared anyway, so its saved me a whole 20 seconds combined throughout my visits!

I simply took a picture of my blue card and drivers license and saved them on my phone. Made it so I didnt need my wallet at all with my magic band. This way my phone is all I took to the park.

I always show my license when taking out my TIW. 1/2 the time I am told to put it away. Inconsistent!

I did that on my last trip. It worked almost everywhere, but Germany at Epcot, He said he needed to see my real license.

I had things with me because I wasn’t sure how it would work. Next time I go, I’ll do the same thing with My phone but won’t carry the rest, If I can’t buy without my real license, I’ll hold off and come back another time!

I'd bet if you ask for a supervisor they will accept your picture of your blue card, AP, Tables cards and drivers license. In the digital age needing physical cards is crazy. Your magic band also knows your status on each of these minus your drivers license. I drank alcohol at several resorts and parks without a physical Id.

I am sure I could have asked to see someone else, But I had my license with me so it wasn’t a big deal.

For me, it would be really no big deal. Like I said, if they didn’t accept the photo of my license, I’d just come back with it another time.

I had success in most places with this method, Only in Germany did the CM ask to see my actual license. He was fine with the picture of the DVC card as those are digital,

I am sure I may have been able to ask for someone else, but since I had my license on me, it wasn’t a big deal,

But all of the WDW stores took it without issue
