DVC..... best thing I have ever done!

We have been very happy with our purchase as well. I believe we had seven says in nine years before we purchased. I don't regret waiting we couldnt have afforded it earlier, barely could when we did!

We have been Disney veterans since way back in 1975 when we Disneymooned at the Poly. After countless trips later, we finally took the plunge aboard the Disney Magic and bought SSR in 2005. We had been looking at DVC for a couple of years and since our last chick had left the nest, it was a good time. Since purchasing DVC we have enjoyed weekend getaways and week long trips with children, grandchildren, as well as my sister's family. We feel like it has been money well spent to spend quality time with each other and our family. We even use our points for trips to Vero Beach which we have also grown to love.

We are only approaching our 1st anniversary as DVC owners, but 2010 was a great year - a long Mother's Day weekend at Bay Lake Towers and then a 6 day trip to AKV in December.

2011 is going to be busy too. First trip to Aulani in September with hopefully a stop off at GCV on the way (won't know for a couple of weeks until our 7 month window opens up). Then, my job was so nice to send me to Orlando for a conference in November - that means back to BLT.

Watching DD4 enjoy the parks has been truly amazing and fun. Can't wait to take DW to Hawaii for the first time. She's been waiting for that for years now.

I agree, I am happy with DVC too! We first looked at DVC in 1996 but could not afford it then. We finally bought SSR in 2004. We been able to vacation more with DVC.
