DVC benefits w/a guest

I will be traveling to a conference with a work buddy this Oct. ( hopefully approved), she is not DVC. I am a blue card carrier and AP.
We are staying in the conference hotel( one of those connected ones to Disney for EMH).

I was wondering if ........

1. I buy MNSSHP tix can I buy two with the DVC ( or AP) discount,and she is allowed to use that other ticket.
2. As a DVCer on party days u are allowed in the park as early as 2 pm(do they still do this?) can she enter with me.

The conference will suck up so much time every moment in the parks will b precious!

Yes to both. Reportedly, the 2pm entry time for DVC will be available again this year.

The 2PM entry time for blue card members is now advertised:

Early Entry to the Park
When attending this event, Members and their guests can enter Magic Kingdom park as early as 2:00 PM!

I am no longer entitled to the Party early entry, but I never cared for it when I was.
I always liked the first impressions of approaching the gate and Mainstreet when the theming was in full swing.
