Ah, so that's different from last year, when we could enter the park before it closed to other guests. Now they're saying that if you're in TL, you have to come out for 2 hours before entering again.

So we can be quite sure that the big slides that close at dusk will not be open for us.

Last year, Crush 'N' Gusher closed at sunset. I believe the rest of the attractions were open for the whole party.

We arrive morning of July 5th. We are doing some park stuff on the 6th, but we plan on being back at the resort to hit the pool and nap so we can hang late night for the party. Nothing planned on the 7th until 4pm so we can sleep in and recover.

I jumped in here out of curiosity if the group was discussing the possibility of running into nocturnal 'creatures' while at Typhoon Lagoon for the Bash. It was the first thing that crossed my mind when this was advertised last year.

We went on the 29th. We chose to drive and park there instead of using the bus. They started letting people in at 7:41 PM because the crowd gathering was getting too big. The wave pool was the only thing open at that time. I'm not sure of the exact time the lazy river and slides opened, but it was before 9:30. Snacks and characters did not show up until 9:30 PM. It was a wonderful evening (no nocturnal creatures) and the longest wait was for the 4 person raft slide (about 30 minutes). Most slides were about a 5-10 minute line. Ice cream lines did get long, because they opened them an hour after everyone was there. We will be back next week and can't wait to have another great evening!

It was about 20 minutes around 10 pm, and much longer before that. There were only 2 snack stands so they get crowded fast.

When we went last week, the two lines for refreshesments up front were long, but if you walk towards the right side of the wave pool where the cabanas are located, there were two more food locations without a line. Look for the white balloons that read DVC 25th, that's where the food is.

Does anyone know if the shops will be open during the party? It's been a few years since we've been to TL, so I don't know what their merchandise is like now, but I always liked their selection of swimsuits and often bought one there. Thinking I might want to if they'll be open.

Yes, and I was really pleased with their swimsuits. They had styles that I couldn't find anywhere else, nor on the app.

They also had a rack of DVC-specific merch, close to the store entrance, including 25th shirts & ear hats.
