I bought a new car over the 4th of July weekend, and I decided that I wanted to Disney-fy it a bit. So, I did something I've never done before in my life: ordered custom license plates. I had to enter my top 4 choices, and I just got the postcard in the mail that my top choice was available. So, if you're in NJ and see a license plate that says DVC BDWK, make sure to honk!

I also just got a personalized license plate. My DH suggested DVC MOM and got it. I can't wait to actually get the tag on my car!

I couldn't believe that when I got the postcard yesterday, it said that it could take up to 10 weeks to receive my plates. Yikes!! But I do know that they're 'in the mail,' so to speak.

Just for fun - what were your other three choices?

We're headed to OC on 7/23 for a long weekend. We're actually staying in Marmora this year. My aunt and my cousin live there and my aunt's other Daughter visits each weekend from PA. So we have a mini family reunion.

I used to spend summers there babysitting for my aunt and uncle. I introduced my kids to the boardwalk three years ago so they could see what a "real" boardwalk looked like and they find it addictive.

Oh and I forgot. Our newest neighbors, whom my daughters babysit for, hail from NJ and they are vacationing in OC starting 8/16 thru the weekend we're there. It's a small world.

Great job!! I had a personalized plate for a year in Ohio: DVC 4ME. Unfortunately, I got divorced that year and everyone thought it meant divorce for me.

Oh well, maybe I'll try a different one next year.

HONK HONK!!!! I'm always looking for any disers, dvc or just plain Disney people. I'm the one with the Mickey ears and plate borders (can't bring myself to pay for vanity plates-maybe next car).
