DVC Avalability

I have been going to Disney Marathon weekend for nearly 10 years. I am looking at getting DVC at VGF, but I am wondering if I can reliably get 11 month booking?

Marathon weekend has gotten hard to get into, and if we didn't get in, we would go at another time in the year, but I am largely hoping to use DVC for rundisney weekends. Anyone with any experiences?

VGF for marathon weekend isn't impossible to get at 11 months. Early December is a different story.

IIRC, there was a special rundisney DVC package available at CCV (and maybe elsewhere) that guaranteed you the fixed period around the marathon.
