If I go to Disney's website and try to book a villa for a particular date and resort, but am shown another resort - does that mean there are no rooms left for that time period?

Or do they hold out a percentage for DVC?

I tried to book a room for 2 adults at BWV for 18DEC2009 - 23DEC2009, just to see how much it would cost if we were paying rack rates, and it will only show me rooms for VWL and GF.

Do you think they're booked up or is this a trick? BWV is our home resort and we haven't even been on our first DVC trip yet.

If you are looking to book a room on points for Dec. 2009, the booking window doesn't even start until January 18, 2009.

DVC is a completely diffeent inventory of rooms than WDW Website. It is not surprising that no cash room ae showing (yet) for Dec. 2009, as most of those cash room come from DVC inventory when a member trades out of the DVC system for a cruise or into the Disney Collection/Adventures by Disney. Most of reservations are also subject to the 11 month window, and will show as members begin trading out for 2009.

You are not finding the rooms on the regualr website cuz they are not realeased to CRO yet. Highly likely that those dates will never be released from a small resort to CRO for those dates. It's points or nothing. Right now I don't believe there were any rooms released to CRO for those dates either and DVC is fully booked.

One way to see how much you would pay is to find dates that have the same price season and try to book one of those dates. Then you will see the cost if you can find it.

That's a relief. I thought we were going to have to wait for the 7 month mark and settle for another resort.
