DVC Associate Member - making reservations online?

My husband is listed as an associate DVC member on his parents membership. I know associates can make or change reservations and bank reservation points. Can he make a reservation online in the DVC site?

He’s spent time on the phone in the past with member services to try to get this set up but had to end the call for other reasons. I thought he could try again, but if DVC associate members can only make reservations over the phone and not online, I don’t want him to waste time again trying to get it linked to his account. Just wondering if any other associate members have been able to book a room with points online. Thanks!

He can make reservations online, he just needs his own DVC account for that membership. Adding associates is just like adding a second owner/spouse who never originally set up a DVC account.
