Dvc ap ?

WHen you purchase an AP thru DVC when can you activate it? Is there a limited time to do so?

There was an AP deal a while ago where you had to purchase by a certain date, and activate by a certain date....but no, a regular AP purchase with a DVC discount does not have a requirement to activate it. Basically you are purchasing a voucher that gets redeemed when your are ready to activate it.

However, just to clarify, even though you don't activate it until you get to the park, they give you a number so that you can make your FP+ selections at 60 days out. The first time I did it, I was afraid that the day I made my FP+ selections would be my first day on the AP, but I learned that it IS, as the CM told me, the first day you go to a park.

So I just got my voucher cards in the mail it says I need to go to ticket sales at Epcot, Hollywood, AK, or the ticket center and transportation center of the MK. Is that for real the ticket center for the MK super annoying to get to the MK the. Take a monorail ride to the parking lot. Any help please.

As far as I have always known, you can redeem at any ticket counter with the exception of the concierge desks at the resorts.

just don't do what we did an run a bit late for a FP+ at a park and still have to stand in line to activate the pass. It was a very stressful wait. Thankfully the CM let us in past our FP+ time... It was our first ride on 7DMT!

You can exchange those for your actual APs at any Park Ticket Window or Guest Relations Location.

So guest relations is on the right ride when looking at the magic kingdom? Those windows after you get the security check.

Make sure you give yourself plenty of time. It was Mid Aug when we activated ours. We were there before park opening and there was a big line. It took a good 30 minutes for us before we were at the window, and it was during magic band "testing" and not all resorts had them, but we did and there were issues linking them to our bands. So, like a previous poster said if you are in a hurry to be somewhere, you may be waiting a bit.

I am going last week of August staying a BLT just wanted to know if we could walk on over or had to ride to the ticket center.

The ticket center is at the park. You can walk there (about 10 minutes or so) or take the Monorail over.

Ok some confusion can I go to guest relations in front of the entrance to the magic kingdom or do I need to take the monorail to the transportation and ticket center. Sorry just confused a bit.

Yes, you can go to Guest Relations by the entrance to MK.
