Hi All, our upcoming trip is in April 2015. If we were to buy our AP's now, because funds allow, would they only start as of the first time we use them? Or do we get a voucher number?

If you pre-purchase, you still need to stop at a guest relations location or theme park ticket window to exchange for your actual passes. The clock would start ticking when the CM hands you the actual passes at WDW.

But I would get some sort of number so I can book FP+ 60 days out correct?

Select Will Call pickup and you can link the will call confirmation to MDE which will allow FP+ selections.

Technically, that's not true for an AP. An AP is date-stamped when you pick it up and the countdown to 366 days begins then. Wouldn't matter if you didn't use it for 6 months.
