DVC AP voucher upgrade

I have one of those wonderful DVC AP vouchers that I will be activating in November. Will they let me trade this in for a Premier Passport, and if so do I get credit for what it is worth or what I paid for it?

Don't know the answer to the trade-in question but historically turning in tickets bought through Disney for different ones has been allowed only on a price paid basis not the current or undiscounted price.

The promotion from last year was a special deep discount and do not expect price-bridging if you upgrade to a Disney Premier Passport.
