Our AP's expire May 6th and we are planning a trip around that time. I hope to fit the vacation prior to that date, but it looks like it is going to fall the week after due to family obligations. My question is we are no longer DVC members, but our AP has a DVC discount. When I try to renew it online it gives me the DVC rate? I don't want to take advantage of the situation, but any money saved will still be spent at Disney, so, if I renew our APs online how does it work?

Thanks :flower3:

Renewing online will send you a certificate that you will need to present at a ticket window the redeem. At the time of redemption they will need to enter your DVC number, so that would be where the price increase would catch up with you and you would most likely be asked to pay the difference.

Or, you can simply renew it when you get to WDW, as you'll need to exchange a voucher or will call even if you renoew via the internet. You have 30 days after expiration to renew the pass, so you can pay the non-DVC renewal rate at that time and the pass will be backdated to expire on year from the original expiration date.
