DVC AP 9%-10% increase

man.....thinking back to when I bought ours in November, I won both ways.....avoided the higher exchange rate and the price increase....glad we had the money to do it then!!

Things will go up....that just the way it is I guess :)

Purchased our AP voucher Saturday before the prices went up. Glad we did! We also purchased 5 and 7 day hoppers from undercover tourist at the old prices. I think we are set for tickets for awhile. At least we are still getting a discount, and it's much better than what a non-florida resident has to pay!

ok, since so many bought their APs, it's surely likely for the next DVC special ticket deal:duck:

Hope you're right. We didn't buy our APs. Sounds like we were the only ones who didn't buy. DH didn't want to tie up the money for 10 months.

They won't stop removing more perks and increasing prices until people stop spending the money to go to the parks. They are a business and are trying to make as much profit as possible. You would do the same if it were your business. Now, when do the prices get to be too much that it starts to decrease park attendance?
True, and as I posted on another similar thread, we're already starting to do less park, more relaxation. pirate:

we are sitting on an AP voucher & 6 day PH (both purchased before the PAP offer) along with two sets of 2-day MYW tickets. I plan on linking them all to our MDE account and working off them for future ADRs.

If another special discounted DVC ticket offer doesn't pop up before May, we will just upgrade the 2 day tickets at the park to AP or PAPs and keep the AP/6 day in our accounts.

Disney was able to switch ticket usage around for at the parks last October when I bought the $199 tix shortly before we left for trip. I figure if I'm going to stockpile/sit on a set of tickets, might as well assign them to MDE and be able to book the ADRs asap.
