DVC AP & 4+3 deal

Does anyone know if I currently have an active AP (dvc discounted), if I were to purchase the 4+3 deal (with 7 day base ticket) if I can hold off on using the 7 day ticket until a later date (after Ap expires) and use my AP during the 4+3 stay or does the 7 day pass need to be used during the trip?

I also have an AP and I did the 4+3 in December. You do not have to purchase seven days of tickets. What I did was just got a 1 day ticket with my package. At the conciege desk I asked them to print it out as a separate ticket, not on my room key. This ticket is now a one day non-expiring ticket that can be used at any time in the future. I was told that if I wanted to use that 1 day ticket to upgrade to another ticket, such as an AP renewal, I would have to do so within the next 14 days. Hope this info helps.

I believe the concierge desk was incorrect. I just booked a 4+3 package for May with a 1 day MYW pass for my DW and I. Since we have APs in effect during the May trip, I asked CRO my options concerning the MYWs I wouldn't be using/activating. They were unable to tell me and referred me to WDW ticketing at 407-566-4985. Ticketing told me that if the 1 day MYW pass was not used during the trip, to keep the key card and when I was ready to renew or purchase a new AP, the cash value of the pass (about $80.00) would be applied to the cost of the new AP. The critical thing is that you never activate the MYW pass so the 14 day expiration after first use never becomes an issue.

If you find out information to the contrary, please let us know. So far, the 4+3 package is a better deal than any other current offers, even if you can't apply the 1 day pass to anything.
