DVC Annual Planner Format

What type of Planner would you prefer?

  • I prefer all my info online. I don't need a physical planner.

  • Binder with periodic updates as needed throughout the year.

  • Fancy full color bound brouchure that arrives before January of the year being represented.

  • I like things the way they are now.

  • What Planner?

I like the opt-out option.

But agree with PP who say that these tools come from Marketing's budget and is not paid for with our dues.

I do like the binder idea and then mailing out just the updates needed. It's more cost-efficient that way.

And anyone who wants to go-green could still opt out of the mailings and just print out the updates from the website.

:thumbsup2i like having a 'hard copy' in my hands, think reverting to optional updated binder method would be best of both worlds

I would really prefer the binder option. Seems totally pointless to mail a 2010 points book halfway through the year to people who are booking 2011. A lot of information never changes so why keep printing it over and over.

We just bought resale and received 2 copies of the 2010 planner. I am guessing one was because we just bought and the other because we are on the list now. Anyone in southern NH want one?

I couldn't vote. My wish for an electronic, downloadable planner. The phrasing, "I prefer all my info online. I don't need a physical planner." is close -- but online is not sufficient if not available "off-line."

I always go directly to the member website when I begin researching/planning my next trip home. And if I can't find what I need there, there's alway "us"! ;)

PS: I haven't even opened the planner I received in the mail!!

Sorry I can't edit the poll choices but your idea is definitely another viable option. When I forward the results I will definitely mention it. I believe the current PDF documents can be saved directly to you computer but that brings us back to my complaint about the lack of timely notification when they post something new.

PDFs are perfect! Yes, they may be downloaded, stored on my local device(s) and easily read while disconnected from the internet.

I just received my planner Sat, which I think is very late. Since receiving it, I have used it 4 times. So, I really do like having one.

I'm just bumping this poll back up for those who may have missed it. I'll probably consider it done early next week if there is no activity so vote now if you haven't already.

I'm going to bump this one last time since it's been a while since I checked in. Hopefully everyone has already received this years planner.

I really want the update pages like we got years ago. It's cheaper to produce. Direct and to the point with what is different, and can be kept in a binder that gets changed annually. No need to do all the fancy photos. We already purchased, so why impress us with a photo book?

I do get most of it online, but I like a hard copy of the necessary stuff that I can take with and flip throuh when I'm out of range of my laptop.
