Just passed ROFR on resale purchase at VWL

DH and I are current AP holders. In May when we need to renew our passes will we be able to renew at the DVC renewal AP rate?

Our DVC contract/deed is in the names of myself, DH, DD and DS (both adults). Will DD and DS be able to purchase DVC annual passes? DS still lives at home, but DD is married and has a different address. All our documents have my address on them.

Thanks

Donna

Since your kids are adults and are named on the deed, if everyone gets a DVC membership card, they should be able to get a DVC annual pass. Everyone would need to show their DVC membership card as proof to buy the DVC annual pass. I don't believe you will be able to buy them for anyone outside your household...

No idea on the other...

Since your DD is on the deed as an owner, she's a DVC member and is eligible for the DVC discount on an AP. I think the section about living in the same household is referring to non DVC owners.

Here's the FAQ from the MS website.

Who is eligible to receive the Annual Pass discount?

Disney Vacation Club Members receive a discount on the Pass for themselves and their immediate family residing in the same household only. At the time of purchase or redemption, your Disney Vacation Club Member ID Card must be provided and ALL ADULTS must present a valid driver's license or state identification card showing they reside in the same household.

Who is defined as "immediate family"?
"Immediate family" is defined by Walt Disney World Resort for discount purposes as noted below: Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner, Parent/Step Parent, Mother-In-Law/Father-In-Law, Child/Step Child, Brother/Stepbrother, Sister/Stepsister, Brother-In-Law/Sister-In-Law, Grandparent, and Grandchild.

Can I use my discount to buy a Pass for someone other than myself or immediate family residing in the same household?
No. This discount is exclusive for Members and may not be transferred. This perk may be revoked in the event of abuse.

What if I don't currently have access to the Walt Disney World Ticket Store?
Please contact Member Services by calling (800) ******** to process the purchase for you, or visit a Guest Relations location at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or the Downtown Disney® area to purchase a Pass.

What if I need to renew my Pass?
Please contact Member Services by calling (800) ******** to process the purchase for you, or visit a Guest Relations location at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or the Downtown Disney area to purchase a Pass. To take advantage of renewal savings, renewals can be purchased 30 days prior to or 30 days after the expiration date. Limit 8 purchases per household.

Do I receive an additional discount on my Pass renewal if I already have a Florida Resident Annual Pass or Florida Resident Premium Annual Pass?
No. The two discounts may not be used in combination.

Is there an expiration date for taking advantage of this Member Perk?
All Member Perks are incidental and subject to change or termination at anytime (refer to your Member Benefits Guide). All offers are evaluated on an on-going basis.

you should be able to renew at the DVC renewal rate, you just may need to call to get it done as opposed to doing it online.

anyone one listed on the deed will get the discount. if all 4 are in different housholds anyone living at those addresses will also get the discount.

DD is the only one listed on the deed that does not live in our household. All contract and closing docs have our address. How would I notify Disney that her address is different?

I had asked about this and was told Disney only wanted 1 address.

If everyone in her household can get the discount for APs that means my DSiL and DGD (when she is older and needs one) would be able to purchase the discounted APs as well. I know she will want to go to WDW with Nana more than once a year :cheer2:

we bought dvc 3 years ago. there are 4 of us on the deed in 3 different households. we all had to give our addresses and contact info. all the members in each of our households get the dvc ap discount with proof of address...i dont know why the would tell you they only needed one address for the deed

i would contact member services...unless something is different for a resale purchase, but i dont think there is
