Dvc annual pass

If you mean purchase an AP at the DVC rate-receive a voucher in the mail....
then bring the voucher with you on 8/2/2011 to use.....yes you can.

:) We ordered ours a couple of weeks ago, vouchers were green plastic cards that came via snail mail in about 5 days. I think you renew within 30 days of your expiration date after using it for a year.

So if I bought a pass today and used it now... could I renew in February 2011 when we are there for vacation again?? We will not be back until mid August next year and I would like to renew before then... I have 5 day parkhoppers I want to put toward the renewal... is that permitted??

They sent you the vouchers? They told me that they aren't sending them out anymore and that I have to give a code to guest relations when I arrive at the parks. I also don't have access to the annual passholders website either. I asked them about this when I placed my order (several months ago)but the CM made it seem like this is the policy going forward. It is so frustrating when people are told different things.

I bought them online and chose the Will Call option so I'll be picking them up when we go in October. Other options included having them mailed (vouchers, I'm assuming, not tickets) but rather than paying extra to have vouchers sent (that I could lose!), I decided to do Will Call and pick them up with my NSSHP tickets (bought those through MS and they told me they only do Will Call for them).

I think it was about $414.... I had rewards dollars that I put towards most of it... you can check on wdwinfo site for the exact price... but I suspect the price will go up by next week!

When we purchased APs for the first time in February, we did not get a voucher. The CM at Guest Relations at DTD just applied the DVC discount. We had to show one of our DVC member cards.

I would assume they could do the same for renewals.

Does anyone know if I can renew my DVC Annual pass that I purchase now in Feb. 2011???

Perhaps. Most wisdom suggests getting the renewal within 30 days of the pass expiration date. Some have found that Disney reservations are allowing people to renew within 60 days of their expiration date.

Just today I renewed two APs (Will call option) hoping I will get the 15 month renewal even though we won't be in WDW until October. Even if we only get the more typical 12 month extension, I will have beaten any price increases.

Thanks!! My problem is I have 5 day parkhoppers that I would like to put towards my renewal and we will not be back until mid august so I was trying to renew before the prices go up (typically 8/1)

If I purchase my AP's for DBF and I this week via online at the DVC rate of $389, and do not use them until we go in Nov, will the expiration be July or Nov? Sorry of this is a silly question, but I know he regular PH expires 14 days after the day of the 1st use. Many thanks!

One year after you first use them... Sounds like November....

I think I just found the answer to my own question...this means it is valid for a year after you turn your exchange certificate, in my case meaning Nov., right?

APs expire a year from when you exchange your voucher for the AP at Guest Relations.
