Dvc annual pass renewal

How do I go about renewing our DVC annual passes? Through the DVC office or at the parks?

Probably easier going directly to a Park. You have to got to a Park ticket or Guest Relations window to get the actual AP anyway.

If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in this Forum, especially Post #15-G, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!

You can renew between 60 days before and 30 days after expiration date of existing AP. You can call MS, which will transfer you to another number, or the AP number (407) 560-PASS (if you buy by phone make sure you request they email receipt/confirmation number). I question waiting until you get there because of new Fastpass+ system. If some or all of the days you will be in the parks are after the date your current AP expires then you should buy the renewals in advance because to get fastpass+'s in advance on your My Disney Experience account, you will need either an AP purchase receipt number or AP number that shows an AP that will be in effect for the days you want FP+.

I looked on your sticky Mike and couldn't find my particular answer...so maybe someone here can give me some advice. I have a PAP that expires on Friday, 12/6. It was one of the special ones we got a year or so ago..for $399. Okay, I don't want another PAP, but want to get the regular AP. Can I renew on Friday, or now, and get the regular AP renewal price?

You should be able to. My PAP special priced from the promo expired on Oct 29. I called member services around Nov 22 and got a regular AP renewal. Edit- around $419 or so including tax I think.

When you do any AP renewal, you can upgrade or downgrade to any level of AP you are eligible for and you will get the renewal price for the new AP.

I am glad you answered this question, we received renewal letter direct from Disney and renewal price is quite a bit more than DVC renewal. I was on hold Sat with DVC 25 mins to get this answer, finally hung up. Like you, I will get reg AP as we didnt take advantage of DQ or waterparks.
