DVC Annual pass renewal question

we currently have our DVC sorcerers pass and it will be up for renewal May 2023. Fortunately, we bought it several months earlier and it did not start until our first time using it (May 2022).

Now that we are up for renewal, I was curious how it worked. Can we renew today and still have our renewal start date be May 2023? We still have a couple trips planned before May 2023, so we’d like to get the full value out of last year’s membership. For example, we are going Feb 2023. If we renew today, I don’t want our new renewal date to be Feb 2023. I would prefer to ride out our current membership and renew in May. However, if it’ll renew May 2023 regardless, I’d prefer to do just take care of it now.

Sorry, I do please ignorance on this issue. It’s our first time renewing, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to see your passes in the MDE app and it will show your expiration date. (As Anthony said below, you can't renew Gold/Sorcerer in the app) You can renew it 60 days before or 30 days after that date. No matter when you renew it within that window, it will be valid one year from what was the expiration date.

Assuming it's the Gold Pass equivalent (Sorcerer's?), I think you will need to call Member Services to renew. It is correct that it will be from the expiration date. I renewed ours in November or so, for a January expiration. I called right after they announced the price increase for "new" passes (not on sale, so I think that was really just so renewal prices would increase) - I wanted to get the renewal off the old price. I'm not sure if you can do it through the Passholder customer service or not - I think I was on the phone with Member Services anyway for something else too. I'm pretty sure you CAN'T renew through MDE if it's for the DVC pass (Gold/Sorcerer's/whatever-it's-called).

You can renew 60 days prior by calling MS, so in March. The renewal will then kick in beginning the same day as the old one ends.
