Is there anyway to purchase DVC Annual Passes without getting dinged taxes?
We are going to WDW for 5 days in Oct, and then a 7-10 day WDW trip in Aug. 2011, so if I buy an annual pass I can use it for both trips. However, for the 3 of us I'm looking at $1242 for the passes with tax (tax is $76). We could use the day or two we have left on our old non-expiring tickets (just can't go to the parks every day), then just buy 10 park hoppers for the Aug. trip and our outlay through Undercover Tourist would be $895 (no tax) for a savings of $347.
I just can't see why I need to get an annual pass. Anything I'm missing?
Seems like for the AP to be worth it you have to be there for more than 10 days?
