DVC Annual Pass question

You can also get DVC annual passes at the ticket booths at the park. We got my girls passes at Animal kingdom when we were there in OCtober.

We have PAP right now, but come December when they expire, we want to renew just to AP, because we tend not to use the water parks as often any more. Is that possible?

Yes, you can downgrade to a standard AP for the renewal price.

Just an FYI if you are getting your AP at guest relations at the parks. It is not an quick process from my experience. It took about 25 minutes for me purchase them for me, dw and dd. I imagine the process is much faster when you pre-purchase and just have to exchange the voucher.

Actually, it takes about the same amount of time, the only difference is you use a voucher to pay.

Is there any benefit to having the vouchers? Why do you need them if you can just go to guest services when you get there?

The biggest benefit is if there is a price increase before your trip. The AP rates went up in early August the past 2 years. When it was posted they were going up, I ordered them online right away and got the old price. Then exchanged the voucher when I got there in October.

what are the hours of guest relations at the parks-same as the parks? we have early ressies prior to park opening but need to exchange our AP vouchers.
