DVC Annual Pass Pick up?

My FIL is taking the family to WDW, however, we are staying at POP Century. We are going again in November for our DVC vacation. Since we are going twice in one year, I would like to purchase AP. I want to book the rooms at POP with the AP discount. We are required to show our AP at check-in. Do I have to go to a DVC resort to pick up the AP or will they send them in the mail?

They will send a voucher, not an actual pass, in the mail. Or they can give you a will call number. Usually the resort will give you until the next day to show your AP, and you can pick up your AP at one of the parks or at Downtown Disney.

They will only send a voucher if you pay a processing fee. The voucher will allow you to access the passholder section on disneyworld.com. If you don't pay the processing fee, you will only get a confirmation number.

I ordered our Annual Passes today from DVC. I asked for a voucher and was told they don't send out vouchers a confirmation number was all I needed. The woman I spoke to called over to POP Century and was told I have until the end of my stay to show an AP in order to get the AP rate.

Though I am not sure about Pop Century, be aware that that you can now pick up new annual passes at the resorts. You still need to pick up renewal APs at the parks.
