DVC - Annual pass discounts

What are the discounts on dinning and annual passes for DVC members?
We are looking into buying and were not sure about the exact details of the discounts.

As to DVC AP pricing:

Adult Annual Pass (ages 10 and up) save $100.00 plus tax
Child Annual Pass (ages 3-9) save $85.00 plus tax

Adult Annual Pass Renewal (ages 10 and up) save $75.00 plus tax
Child Annual Pass Renewal (ages 3-9) save $64.00 plus tax

Adult Premium Annual Pass (ages 10 and up) save $125.00 plus tax
Child Premium Annual Pass (ages 3-9) save $106.00 plus tax

Adult Premium Annual Pass Renewal (ages 10 and up) save $95.00 plus tax
Child Premium Annual Pass Renewal (ages 3-9) save $80.00 plus tax

Dining discounts can and do change...you will be given a current disount list when you check-in using points at a DVC resort.

Do not purchase DVC based on perks, including the Annual Pass discounts, they can be changes or discontinued at anytime. You should purchase based upon your families travel habits and the potential savings in accomodations provided by using the DVC resorts.

I agree with the Chuck - not a good idea to base any part of your purchase on the discounts. They are not guaranteed. They can and have changed over the years.

That said, I've found this currrent comparison helpful when I'm trying to decide which discount (AP, DVC, DDE, & DV) to use at a particular place. (You can't combine discounts).
