I'm hoping somebody can help me here. I am using TurboTax. I had two DVC contracts. I have the 1098s from both contracts and I also have a 1099-S from where I sold one of the two contracts last year. I also assume that the property tax can be retrieved from the maintenance statement and entered somewhere. Where does all of this go in TurboTax? I can't seem to find where to enter it?

Thanks!

We just entered the mortgage interest in that section. You have to list every lender. The property tax pretty much works the same way. Sorry I can't help on the 1099 for the sale of a contract.

I had a DVC sale last year and received a 1099-S. In using this years TurboTax I selected:

- Investment Income
- Stocks, Employer Stocks, Other
- Add Investment Sale
- Select Step by Step
- Other Investments; Other (Read the help text here)

It's treated as capital gain (or loss) based on date of purchase and original value and selling price.

Hope that helps!
