I know it must have been asked before and I'm sorry to repeat this question.
When staying on points can I purchase pass plans that include meals?

The plans that include dining are room/ticket packages. They aren't really tied to the passes, they are tied to the room (you must buy the dining plan for the same number of nights as the room. You could buy passes for as little as 1 day under a package). Since DVC points rooms are not sold with packages, the dining plan cannot be added at this time. DVC has said they are looking into a way to add dining to points rooms but that has yet to come out so far. They say it's due to the reservation system setup but my guess is they cannot come to an agreement with the other WDW departments. When you buy a package with the dining, there is usually no discount on the room, so they make money there to pay for actual cost of the dining. With DVC rooms, they do not have a room charge to balance the cost of the dining plan. Just my theory on why they don't offer it with DVC.

Thank you very much. I like cooking in my villa anyway. LOL
