DVC and meal vouchers?

If you mean the new meal plan, the answer is no.

If you know of some new type of meal vouchers, please share.

Yes, the new meal plan. Do you know why not?
They're not available currently to anyone except for packages was my understanding. And they're not available to DVC members at all, if they were, you could get it as a renter.

The meal plan is part of a full-priced package that includes room, tickets and the meal plan if you want it. Since DVC members stay on points or usually discounted rooms, the meal plan is not an option.

The only discounted package rate that some have gotten with the meal plan was through AAA. That too was room, tickets, and meal plan.

By renting points you have saved a TON of money on your room. I'm sure Disney views DVC members as getting rooms discounted therefore there are no meal plans available at this time.

Disney has stated that there is a glich in the system for working out the meal plan with DVC stays on points. Okay, a glich! Believe what you will! This is a place that can make all kinds of attractions with modern technologies and can't figure out how to incorporate a meal plan into their computers! ;)

I agree with you, all the technology in those theme parks and they can't link 2 computer systems together! I think that is ridiculous! Its an easy way out!
They have found a way to provide the same transportation to DVC members
to and from the airport as they offer resort guests.

How about the technology to do all the wonderous stuff in the theme parks and they still haven't figured out a good report for owners as to history and points used. Many other timeshare companies have a history of how you used your points and a running total of what you have left. Have you ever tried to read a Disney "report" It is what is called a "Dump" of everything in no particular order and is not at all user friendly. I heard they are in the process of fixing this. But I've heard that for years and no fix ever came. You have to keep track of your points very carefully because I have found mistakes in the past and I anticipate more in the future.
