DVC and Golf?

Can anyone tell me about golf perks for DVC? I looked on the members site and it appears that they only offer some kind of a yearly membership. I would also like to know if I, as a member would have to golf in order to treat a guest or could that guest "use" our perk/discount? Thanks in advance for any or all replies.

If you purchase the DVC Golf Membership ($50 yearly), yourself and up to 3 guests will receive the discount. (40% off resort guest rate after 10am and 25% off resort guest rate before 10am)
You cannot give your DVC Golf Membership card to someone else to use, you have to be playing.
