DW is an estate planning attorney, and from my reading of the article, it looks like good sound reasoning, and decent planning advice. Tho setting up a trust so that your heirs have an easier time of it after you're gone seems like a lot of up-front expense for a marginal benefit to your heirs, if you hold a lot of points in DVC, or timeshares in a number of different states, it may make sense. Interesting article - too bad that it casts DVC in stereotypical time-share terms.

The Disney Vacation Club is essentially Disney's version of a time-share. For one week each year, my family has the use of a two-bedroom condominium at the Old Key West.
