DVC and Dining plan

Is there a difference between dvc dining plan and regular dining plan? I downloaded the dining plan off dvc membership website and several restaurants aren't listed that are listed on dining plan I downloaded from disneyworld.com website. I.e. Via Napoli, T rex, Teppan Edo aren't listed under table service restaurants on dvc dining plan. We have always used dining plan with our dvc reservations most recently in June and eaten at these restaurants just wondering if something changed in 2017.

DVC just hasn't updated their website. Your DDP is the same as anyone else's (except the price is a little cheaper now), and you can use it at all the places listed at disneyworld.com.

May I ask a hijacked question, please? I've rented DVC points. I said no dining plan because I didn't understand how it's added onto a DVC reservation. Is there a minimum ticket purchase obligation but not a hotel reservation but a DVC reservation? Thank you.

There is no ticket requirement. The DVC member will request the plan for you and you pay them.
