DVC and dining plan question

Just got back from our 'non-disney' Florida vacation - yeah right! Finally went through with the DVC presentation - at the last minute DH agreed to go - seriously considering buying into AKV.

Forgot to ask about DDP - noticed on the boards that you can get DDP during your stay but am wondering if you have to buy for everyone who is staying?

Yes, all people on the reservation for the length of the reservation.
