Dvc and ddp

Can you get the DDP if staying at a DVC Resort?...Brother gave us DVC points for 4 days at Kidani....is this possible?

Yes, you can add the Quick Service, Standard, or Deluxe DDP to a DVC reservation. The DDP must be added to the reservation at least 48 hours prior to check-in, and it must be paid for at that time. Even if there is a "free dining" promo running for cash guests, DVC is not included as "free dining" only applies to full price cash reservations.

Like a cash reservation, the DVC version must be purchased for all nights of the reservation AND by all guests in the room. Brother will probably have to add the DDP for you, so make payment arrangements with him in advance. They will take a credit card or Disney gift cards as payment.

Yes, you may get the DP but everyone staying in your room must buy it. Your brother, being the member, would have to make the arrangements and will have to pay for it at time of booking. Also, I believe the arrangements must be made at least 48 hrs. before arrival. If this is not correct, someone please correct me.

You have to pay full price for the room and buy 2 day tickets for each person, if the offer is valid for your dates.

You are not alone in wishing for that.

But DVC members (and their guests and renters) have never been eligible for free dining. That 's a discount package designed to entice people to stay in Disney Resort hotel rooms, not DVC member - owned rooms.
