Just got a quick question please .... I am renting DVC points and am staying at BLT, BWV and VWL for 4 nights each. Each part is under a separate reservation. If I bought the DDP I would have 3 x 4 lots of DDP.

On one of my 4 nights I need to check out of BWV by 11.00am (I think it is) but I was not planning to use up the last TS credit until that evening. I know that the credits stay until midnight of your checking out day, but I would then need to check into VWL at say 4.00pm which would be before my dining reservation and the TS credit from my previous 4 night stay. Would I then lose this TS credit seeing as I have checked into another property or is the system clever enough to know to use up that TS credit first before any others on the Magic Band?

I think I get 3 lots of Magic Bands too, so perhaps I just use the BWV Magic Band for the TS credit and then use the VWL afterwards?

Sorry, a bit confused but I don't want to lose a TS credit if I can help it!

Thank you.

3 separate reservations, 3 separate DDPs. Think about skipping the DDP for your BWV stay to break it up.

You can use your BLT credits until midnight of your BWV check in day. You should not lose any credits. You get a pool of credits to use as you want. You can use 2 TS credits if you want to book a signature restaurant.

The system has trouble with split stays, when you check out of BLT get a print out of remaining credits and show it to the front desk at BWV when you check in.

The credits are in your MDE account, not on your MB.

Dining credits are valid from check in through the end of the day you check out. If you can wait to check in until after you use the last of your dining credits, you won't have any trouble. Most reports say that the system "just works" even with split stays, so it shouldn't be an issue, but many of us are pessimistic when it comes to Disney's technology systems. At the least, you should ask the front desk for a print-out of your remaining dining credits when you check out, and make sure they actually, officially, check you out.

We did have a problem last April with dining plans and a split stay. We had the deluxe dining plan on the first part of our stay, and the regular dining plan at our second resort. When we moved to the VGF(second resort), we still had snack credits left on the dining plan from our first (BWV) stay. Before we could start using the credits on the regular dining plan, we were forced to use up all of the remaining credits on our deluxe dining plan. We were OK with this because we only had snack credits left, but it could be a problem if you had TS credits left that you were saving for a dinner later at night.

Thank you guys! I have just amended my ADRs slightly so that on the two days we are checking out of one place and checking in to another, we are having a breakfast and a lunch, so there should be no problem as they will both be before we check into the new accommodation.
