DVC add on on a cruise

We are on the Wonder in Jan on the PC cruise and are thinking of adding on then. Can you do the resorts like VWL or just the incentives like BLT. I want Jan to give us the same use year.

We spoke to a DVC member couple two nights ago at the California Grill. They had just gotten off of the Wonder and did an add on to OKW. Don't know if they were given better incentives for adding on while on the cruise but they were able to do so. The guide they spoke to never mentioned adding on to a closed resort until they asked. So I would think even if you are buying new you could ask about VWL and find out what the price would be.

I would do your homework before you cruise to see what the current price is to buy VWL (DVC.com or here on the Disboards) and check out the resale prices (The TimeShare store has a link at the top of this webpage).
