DVC 8th year Christmas Tree, Sharing a Little DVC Holiday Magic

Does anyone know if they frown upon decorating the balconies during Christmas time?

I've never been aware of any 'frowning' on decorating balconies. Many people do it, so I say "go for it".

Hi,

This will be our first WDW and DVC Christmas! We're very excited. I plan to bring down a small decorated tree (it's about 3 feet) and don't mind leaving it for the next family.

Here is our travel info:

SSR: staying at the THV dates: Dec. 17-26

We retired our 1st tree last year, and bought a new one. Tree was still in good shape, but box was worn from all the shipping for several years. So DW decided to ship to her brother who is stationed in Korea in the AF. So when he comes home, tree will stay for future troops.

I'm really sorry - but we too have now bought a small tree to bring with us - we were worried about what we were going to do for a tree onboard the DCL for actual Christmas (all the DCL decoration packages are so expensive and not really to our taste), so I have today bought our own tree which I can use at the resorts and onboard ship.

I do so want to thank you for the kind thought of this exchange, and I hope someone else can make use of my space and the magic can be spread even further
