DVC 7th Year Christmas Tree Sharing a Little Holiday Magic.

I Pmed her again today asking if it was ever found. I have not gotten a response yet. I dropped it off on the date and time specified at Bell Services and it was clearly labeled with all our names. Hopefully she gets a chance to let us know. There are two boxes by the way.

There was a few families that were removed from the list because they didnt pm me with their first and last name. I pmed several times, sent email and posted several times on the thread. the owners of the trees also sent pms to the families to get them to send their name. Bell service cannot release the tree to you unless your name is on the tree list. I am very sorry that i had to remove your names but we ran out of time and the trees needed to be shipped. I tried my best and even asked the owners to hold off a few days before they shipped the trees, hoping the families would pm me their names. I dont know what more i could have done. Again I am very sorry.

Debrn i sent you 2 pms. I offered to add you to VWL Tree #3 list if i can get a hold of DisneyNutzy to add your name. Again I would need your first and last name asap in order to get this done. I think you are unfair by blaming me that you will now have 2 very sad kids because i didnt receive a pm with your name. Everyone knows on the dis for the past 7 years the time and effort i put into this Tree Share to keep everyone on the tree list. I even go above and beyond myself to make sure i get everyone on the tree list, even people waitlisting. I just need a little help from the families that want to stay on the tree list by pming me their names. I ask pm me because i try to keep your info private .

WDWStar, You have done a wonderful job with all of this organizing, and providing all of us with your own time and money. If I were eliminated from the list, I would not have criticized you. This is a privilege. We are not paying for a service. If I don't get tree #3 that is missing, oh well. It was a nice idea. I apologize for someone telling you that she has 2 very sad children. I don't think that this should have been posted on a public forum and you don't deserve any of it.

It is the thought to me that counts. You took the time to organize this now for many years, people have donated trees etc, and you did this out of your own kindness. The tree is nothing, it is YOU and the OTHERS who have taken the time to purchase and ship these trees for us.

Thanks for your hard work. I just feel terrible for Chellymouse because her tree is missing. I will be there on Friday and see if I can figure out what happened to it.

WDWStar, I would like to also send HUGE Thanks and appreciation for all you've done on the DIS and this swap! The amount of time it takes to monitor and keep everything moving has to be INCREDIBLE and I TRULY APPRECIATE ALL YOU'VE DONE!!

I'm sure the PP was upset because she was taken off the list, but that is absolutely wrong of them to do and I apologize for this person. You do NOT deserve those type of comments, and I would urge you to ignore them.

Like bsusan said, this is a privilege and should not be viewed as anything else. It requires hard work from WDWstar and responibility from those participating.

If you do have 2 very sad children, there is still plenty of time to get a tree and ship or bring it with you to WDW. I would feel awful if this happened to me, but no one is perfect, and even if it was a mistake by someone (which I do not believe it was) you pick up and carry on. Don't make someone who works their tail off to make magic for others feel bad.

I agree 100% with the above posters. It has been wonderful working with you every year. You go above and beyond to help everyone and get as many people on the lists up until the day the tree ships. This is my third time participating in the tree swap and 1st time donating a tree. I know you spend tons of time working on this and I truely appreciate it as I know many others do as well. Thank you for doing this job from the kindness of your heart and helping to share the magic of disney with so many people! Hugs to you...

thank You for all the kind words, I enjoy arranging the tree share just as much as everyone likes Sharing a Tree. No need for apologies we have put this behind and the post wasnt meant to blame me. Things worked out for the best and everyone is happy. The family decided to bring their own tree and VWL tree #3 list will stay the same.

I want to thank you and I appreciated to all that have donated a tree and for those who are participating in the Sahre, i couldnt do this without you all!

Thanks so much wdwstar for organizing and taking the time to keep everything going. We enjoyed our tree and it fit perfectly on the island. There was even electric to plug it in there. Thanks to mnra for donating the tree. Here is a picture of our tree next to the cake we ordered as a surprise for my parents. This BLT tree #1.
