I've always loved Copper Creek and stalked the resale listings. Lots of great memories at that resort from when my kids were young. I especially love the vibes there around Christmas time. But I never found the perfect contract, and prefer to have points that I can use at Riviera or anywhere else at 7 months.

It had never occurred to me that a FW 49 or 50 would be available when CCV went back on sale. When I discovered they were, it dawned on me that there would probably never be a better time to get a FW at CCV during the prime holiday season, so I jumped on it. We will put this FW to good use, and I figure it will be very easy to sell if it ever comes to that, or rent the points. The low point chart is nice as well. I got a little crazy impulsive with this one, but it feels right in the long run for us.

I never thought I'd post in this thread! So out of my league here, but since I was mentioned I have to say congrats on getting your Week 49 at CCV! Not the place to really go into this, but I've fussed and toyed with switching to CCV week 49 too but owning at BRV and CCV would be insane. Anyway, congrats and enjoy your new contract, tx911!

We switched some resale points for Direct, and as such we're at a slightly lower tally (until LSL comes out, at least): 2274.

Now we have 1372. We needed just 25 more BLT points. I have learned not to say “no more.” Truth is when we sold the 200 VB points, we missed using those points, and we decided BLT was where we saw the deficit.

We are debating trading our BLT points in for more BCV but we haven't sold any contracts yet and I'm not sure if we are just better off keeping them. They just tend to be our throwaway points.
