DVC 1,000 Point Club (2025)

Well Poly got me… added on 150 direct (standard view studio fixed week plus 36) and another 75 resale a few weeks ago.

New total 1564.

Think I’ve got everything covered now… although…

Do I exist if I book a Poly Tower room and do NOT have a TPV?

Fully intend to give that TPV penthouse a whirl next year!

So today - I got to thinking - and I emailed my guide and changed my points from 121 to 154 - so now I’m at 1571 - however - I think I shall put one of my smaller ‘other monorail resort’ contracts on the resale market tomorrow…

I am also looking at subtracting some points after our trips next year. We’ll see where the resale and rental markets are….

My new contracts in ROFR will bring us up to 1902 and I can see us getting down to 1302 and maybe even 1127….

What made you decide to change?

Probably a penchant for poor financial planning - but actually when I looked at the chart and then thought more about the flexibility of traveling some in Oct rather than Sept and that I would pretty much always want the TP 1Br - the numbers just worked better…

We're only 2 people so stopped adding DVC....and started doing more international trips.

Oh man, I’m dropping out of the top 10.
But our new total is 2412.

We sold SSR and HHI, but bought more VGC, RIV and PVB.

So resorts are now: AKV, BRV, CCV, PVB, RIV, VGC

So I might have added 220 points AKL (Jambo) and 110 at Aulani, taking my total to 1340. I promise I am done (at least until Poly resale comes down a little).

Haha no. We have three resorts in that one and two in the other.

My guide did call me to try and get me some direct vgc and I was going to add them to DEC but they got snagged by others before I could get them. We did chat about long term goals and I did mention I’d like to grab about 200 more at RVA if there is a good sale in like 2 or three years.
